After playing around with my little addition at the bottom of this site, I have discovered the following:

Native XHTML Support (via HTTP-ACCEPT):

Can Render XHTML:

No XHTML support:

* Safari is able to render XHTML, but character entities do not work correctly and cause errors.
** Internet Explorer can be forced to render XHTML as HTML. It just needs a small addition to the registry. Internet Explorer XHTML registry patch.
